Approach To Counseling
Natalie works from an attachment-based, skills oriented, psychodynamic framework that focuses on her client’s relationships across the lifespan, including those with primary caregivers, romantic partners, friends, siblings, neighbors, colleagues, and the relationship with self.
Clients will work toward fostering stronger connections, improving insight into emotional needs, and building skills in attuned listening and healthy communication.
Treatment plans incorporate a range of evidence-based modalities drawn from The Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide the healing process.
